Things have been so hectic for me lately! The past 3 months in particular have been really busy with 5 gigs in the USA. My first gig was for Heaven in L.A. at the Vanguard. The next I headlined the TerraTrance rave also in L.A. Both were great fun and it's always lovely to meet American trance fans.
My next trip to Los Angeles was for two gigs with Kyau v Albert and Kristina Sky. I have much respect for KvA because of their amazing productions so it was a real pleasure to get to play beside them. Kristina Sky is an amazing DJ and no doubt the #1 female trance DJ in the US so it was also great to play along side her as well.
Wednesday night after our 2 gigs together (Spundae and Mor Bar) we all went to see PVD play in L.A which was a fun night.
The following weekend KvA, Kristina and I all went on a road trip to San Francisco for the Love Parade which KvA were playing at.
We all had the most amazing fun time during the drive up and it was great to see so many familiar faces once we arrived in San Fran.
Kristina and I helped run the main float at the love parade which was hosted by Spundae. This had an incredible line up including Kyau v Albert, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten,  Markus Schulz Mike Koglin and Carl Cox. It was an amazing day, the weather was perfect, and given this is only the second year of the SF Love Parade the turnout was phenomenal.
The official Love Parade afterparty (also hosted by Spundae) was at an amazing 10,000 capacity indoor venue. No surprises this venue sold out with 3 rooms of incredible line-ups including the above mentioned DJs and many more. Both the love parade and after parties were simply amazing and there are some great photos in the gallery to check out.
As I write this I've just arrived back in London from my latest gig in Los Angeles at Spundae. I was on the line-up with the incredible Armin Van Buuren so it was no surprise the amazing 4,000 capacity Spundae venue sold out. I've really enjoyed spending so much time in America lately. The trance scene is really growing and it's always wonderful to meet trance fans from around the world. More gigs are being booked at the moment so I hope to be back over there again very soon!
Now that I'm in London again I will be back into the studio some more.... my trips have certainly been very inspiring! Also Remote Kontrol will be out soon on Enhanced so keep an eye out for that.

Just got an email from someone – they have my headphones! I didn’t think I’d ever see them again after leaving them in Miami. I’m so happy as they had great sentimental value to me as they are the first pair I ever bought.

Hi

Well I’ve just returned back from Miami and despite having lost my headphones and falling out of a car one (early) morning badly scratching my knee and arms (I was totally sober just very jet lagged and sleep depraved!!) I had an amazing time. It is always a dream to be able to immerse myself in trance 24/7 and that is certainly what I did during this week.
I arrived on the Tuesday and caught up with some friends. Wednesday late afternoon / early evening I went to a gig where some friends played brilliant sets – namely DJRaNpage and DJ SiDog as well as the incredible Dave Dresden (shame his other fantastic half Josh couldn’t make it). After this party it was onto the Armada night. Managed to catch the end of Remy’s set and then Armin played a great one too. Was really looking forward to Marcus’ set but the club was too hot and we ended up leaving prematurely very disappointed.
Thursday night I headed down to the Gabriel & Dresden party – they played the most amazing 5 hour set. I had the pleasure of finally meeting Jes too (which if I’m honest was the highlight of my trip as I love her!). Her live singing made me cry and Dave & Josh rocked the night with brilliant music. Their production is amazing and this was one of my favourite nights of the week.
Friday night was onto Space to catch PVD and Ferry. Going home after this night I was starting to feel the effects of not enough sleep and this was when I fell out of the taxi.
Saturday at the Ultra festival was nothing short of amazing. Saw some incredible sets – Armin was great, Ferry totally rocked, Tiesto also great, Hybrid – great, BT great Ableton Live set with a crazy stutter effect at the end of his set (I’m determined to get my hands on the plugin he used).

Overall I had a great time – the weather was perfect, I met some of my favourite producers and also plenty of trance lovers. I can’t wait to go back next year!

Hi

Well I’ve recently returned from a fun 10 day trip to the USA over the NYE period! I had the most amazing time – played some gigs at the RAIN nightclub (including NYE) and also did a 2 hour slot on KISS FM USA for NYE.
These were my first gigs in America and I really enjoyed them. The people I met were fantastic and I also spent some time in the studio with the amazing producer Randy Boyer (one half of Enmass). We made a good start to a new track so keep an eye out for it in the future!
I’ve since been asked back to play at RAIN again in February and a few days later KISS FM offered me a monthly along with Above & Beyond, Adam White and Riley & Durrant. I’m so proud of this residency as I love all those artists and it’s great to be associated with them.

Hi
Ok this is my first diary entry and I have some amazing news to report.
I love the Anjunabeats label (and all of the brilliant artists associated with it such as Above & Beyond, Kyau vs Albert and Smith & Pledger) so there was no way I was going to miss the recent Anjunabeats party held at Turnmills in London. It was an amazing party – brilliant music and a crowd in love with trance as much as I am. It was here that I met Peter Dafnous and we decided to hook up after for some studio work.
Well we have just found out that our first track together - Andromeda Heights (written under the project name Apollonia), has been signed by Armin for his label A State of Trance.
This is one of the most amazing and extremely special moments for me as I love this label and have collected every single piece of vinyl they have released.
Keep an eye out for Andromeda Heights as it will be released in a few months.
